Over the summer, an associate of mine approached me and asked if I could answer some Microsoft Azure questions for another associate of his. I obliged. After a few calls, I was instead asked to architect and deploy a rather large application infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. This infrastructure was needed to support a new, web-based application that the customer wanted to deploy.
The purpose of this document is to provide a detailed look at how I designed a highly available, multi-regional solution. This document walks you through the collection of business requirements and my thoughts as I worked through the design of the final solution. It serves as a fantastic use case for Microsoft Azure.
