With 25+ years of IT experience, I possess a broad spectrum of knowledge across several disciplines, including Microsoft Exchange / Messaging, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Active Directory. Other skillsets include SSO/Identity, VMWare, Storage, and Server Hardware. However, I can produce content on virtually any IT topic. I offer several different types of content that covers these topics and more.
Blog posts are like articles, but shorter. A typical blog post is under 300 words. This content is best for tech blogs and for IT companies and MSPs that are interested in improving their inbound marketing game via content marketing.
Tech articles are typically 500-1000 words in length. They differ from How-To's because a tech article doesn't solve a problem; rather, it discusses or highlights features, usability, application, etc.
A whitepaper is a long-form document (typically 8-10 pages) that discusses a specific issue and employs a "soft-sell" strategy to subtly recommend a particular product or brand as a solution to the issue being discussed.
A complete course covers multiple topics, under the umbrella of a larger topic. Courses inlcude multiple video tutorials and multiple slides. A typical course manuscript can consist of as many as 30k-50k words.
A "how-to" article, or tutorial, is typically 500-1500 words in length, and generally explains to the reader how to perform a specific task. Ample screenshots are included, along with step-by-step instructions.
A video tutorial offers benefits similar to those of "how-to" articles, but in video format. Video tutorials, generally 5-10 minutes in length, are best when trying to explain how to complete a more complex task.
I've taught over 40,000 students in over 200 countries. These two courses are, by far, my most popular!
